The role of your local Member of State Parliament and his electoral officeAs your local member, I have enjoyed the challenging role of becoming your access to the New South Wales Parliament. My primary role is to highlight the specific needs of this area and provide information to the community on what is happening at a State level. Community input is vital to my role and I have enjoyed the opportunity to interact with constituents by interviewing, meeting with interest groups, visiting schools, sporting organisations, attending community functions, public meetings, liaising with community leaders and government authorities and becoming ever more aware of local issues. Where am I available?I am always contactable through my Lismore Electorate Office which is open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm and staffed by Bronwyn, Christine and Annie. I regularly conduct interviews in Murwillumbah, Kyogle, Nimbin, as well as "West of the Range" tours to Wiangaree, Grevillia, Woodenbong, Legume, Urbenville, Old Bonalbo and Bonalbo. |
