THOMAS GEORGE GETS BACK TO BUSINESS

Nationals Member for Lismore Thomas George will ‘go back to work’ next week as part of the NSW Business Chamber’s annual Pollies for Small Business Program.

Thomas George will be working at the Jean House in Lismore on Monday 26 July from 11.00am-1.00pm.

Mr George said he looked forward to the annual event that last year saw him join more than 80 of his State and Federal colleagues across New South Wales take part in the program.

“Having been a small business owner myself, I know the important part it plays in the community,” Mr George said.

“Pollies for Small Business gives me the chance to get back to the coalface and refresh myself first hand with some of the everyday challenges facing small business operators.

“It also gives the small business operators the chance to raise any concerns they have directly with me.”

The NSW Business Chamber Pollies for Small Business program is run in cooperation with the local Chamber of Commerce network.
