KIDS' ADVENTURE PASSPORTS AVAILABLE NOW
KIDS' ADVENTURE PASSPORTS AVAILABLE NOW
19 January 2011
Is your family planning a holiday to Sydney or going to visit a NSW regional art gallery these, or in the next school holidays?
If so, Nationals Member for Lismore Thomas George invites you to phone or drop into his office to collect a Kids' Adventure Passport.
The passports aim to encourage school children in years K-6 to visit the state's cultural venues through an incentive scheme based on a passport.
Entry to participating venues including Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory and the Sydney Opera House is free for Passport holders.
Students who collect at least three stamps from participating venues will receive a certificate for completing the Premier's Adventure Challenge.
All students who collect one or more stamps will go into a draw to win some fantastic prizes.
The program commenced 1 January 2011 and will run until 26 April.
"It is a wonderful opportunity for kids to discover the amazing cultural venues in and around our state," Mr George said.
For more information about the program go to www.kidspassport.nsw.gov.au or phone Thomas George's Lismore electorate office on 6621 3624.
