FUNDING FOR WILSON PARK SCHOOL

Nationals Member for Lismore Thomas George is very pleased with today's announcement that Wilson Park School for Special Purposes in Lismore will receive part of the $80 million in reallocated funding as part of the Primary Schools for the 21st Century element of the BER.

"I am thrilled Wilson Park will be given money to replace demountables with new classrooms, including improved learning spaces and a special program room.

"Principal Helen Rea and her staff provide wonderful education and support for the students and their families and these new facilities will greatly assist in continuing their valuable work," Mr George said.

This funding will now ensure the future of Wilson Park to provide the area with these much needed services.
